Sales sees the difference between a dedicated run and a consolidated one and can choose which to offer, or set both side by side for the client to pick.

The proposal states the price together with the stated condition and the terms for waiting time at collection and delivery. The client approves it online. If the car turns out to be non-running at collection when it was declared running, it is clear the extra effort will be charged at the surcharge named in advance.

Collecting from a dealer or auction does not always go smoothly: keys are in the wrong place or the car is boxed in. Many transporters accept a short wait, but not a long one. As a separate line in the quote, based on your own rate for a winch or recovery truck. The client sees what the surcharge is and why. If a car declared running turns out not to run at collection, the same surcharge applies, because it was set out in the proposal beforehand.
Can business clients order without a quote per run?
Yes, if there is a framework agreement with rates. A run is then confirmed directly on those rates, with a quote only when something deviates, such as a destination outside the agreed zones. A dealer does not have to wait for every trade-in.
What if the car is not at the pickup address?
The driver records it with the time and a photo of the empty spot. The quote states what happens on a wasted run, for example a fixed fee. The office sees the record alongside the invoice and can justify that line if the client asks.
Can a quote cover several cars at once?
Yes. A quote can include a line per vehicle, each with its running condition and any surcharges. If they travel together, the price per car can be lower than for separate runs. The client sees exactly what they pay for each vehicle.
