Manufacturing and processing: Enquiry form for textile printers
An enquiry form for textile printers that collects size breakdown, print placements and artwork in one go, so an enquiry does not stall on a missing file or an unknown size.
What makes an enquiry complete for textile printers.
Enquiries to textile printers often arrive as a short email: two hundred shirts with our logo, can you do it by next week. There is no size breakdown, no garment colour, and the logo is a tiny image in the email signature. Left chest, large back print or both? Does each person need a name or number? Sales emails back and forth three times before they can price it, and meanwhile the delivery date slips. With clubs, the size breakdown only arrives once everyone has replied, by which point some sizes in the chosen colour have sold out at the wholesaler.

From form to assessed enquiry.
Garment, colour and quantity
The client first picks the garment style and colour and gives a total quantity. If they know the size breakdown they enter it per size; if not, they give an estimate and the breakdown becomes an open point. The form shows which sizes are normally available in that colour.
Placements and artwork for each
For each print placement, such as left chest, back or sleeve, the client picks the position and a rough size. Each placement has its own artwork upload, with a quick check on file type and resolution. If the file is too small or lacks a transparent background, the client hears about it straight away.
Personalisation and delivery date
If names or back numbers are needed, the client can upload a list now or supply it later. They also give a target delivery date and say whether it is fixed, such as for an event, or flexible. Sales sees a summary of what is complete and what is still missing.
Enquiries in one place, not the inbox.
Enquiries reach textile printers by email, the web shop, phone and sometimes a reseller ordering for a business. The form gives all those channels a single shape. Artwork is stored with the enquiry instead of in someone's inbox. If there is already an order system or a spreadsheet of open enquiries, the enquiry is passed into it. Clients own their designs; you decide whether a file is print ready and which method to recommend.
Size breakdown now or later
A full size breakdown with the enquiry firms up both price and purchasing, but many clubs and businesses only know it later. You can hold the enquiry, or quote on an estimate with an agreed deadline for the final breakdown. The form makes that deadline explicit.
Upload artwork or have it redrawn
Some clients supply a print ready file, others only a photo of an old shirt. The form can accept both but should make clear that redrawing or vectorising is extra work. The client then knows in advance that a blurry logo cannot simply be printed as it is.
One form or one per client type
A club with names and numbers has different questions from a company wanting workwear with a small logo, or a brand printing its own collection. One long form puts people off. An opening choice between a few typical situations keeps every path short. Shared details such as delivery address are asked once.

From the start, style, colour, quantity, size split, positions, artwork per position and delivery wishes are asked for, with a summary for the salesperson. Together we send an ordinary request for company shirts with a chest logo through the form, and a club request where the size split and name list are not yet known. A reminder for missing sizes, a reseller route and passing enquiries to the quote you switch on afterwards.

Explore pricing and optionsWhat if a client only has their logo as an email image?
The form checks the file on upload and flags it when the resolution is too low. The client can then find a better file or indicate that artwork help is needed. That choice is recorded on the enquiry, so sales knows there is extra work on the artwork.
Can clients send a size breakdown per person?
Yes, as a list with name, size and optionally a number or text. That is handy for clubs and teams. The list is stored with the enquiry and later drives sorting and bagging per person, so nobody ends up with the wrong size.
How does the client know whether their sizes are available?
The form shows which sizes are normally stocked in each colour. Whether they are actually in stock at the wholesaler right now is checked by sales after the enquiry. If a size is unavailable, an alternative is suggested in the quote.
Can a reseller enquire on behalf of their client?
Yes. Resellers get their own route where they can add their own reference and request unbranded shipping. The enquiry lands in the same list but tagged, so you can see immediately that pricing and communication run through the reseller.
