Construction and installation: AI enquiry assistant for facade cleaning contractors

An AI enquiry assistant for facade cleaning contractors that answers questions about contamination types, methods and the working day from your own explanations, and refers to a planner when a facade needs assessing.

Which questions facade cleaning contractors keep getting.

Facade cleaning contractors get many questions about soiling: is that green layer harmful, why does white bloom return after rain, can graffiti come off natural stone without leaving a shadow? And about the working day: do the windows need to stay shut, can washing hang outside, what happens to the plants? You know the answers, but they are not neatly in one place. Anyone with a question in the evening waits until the next day. At the same time some questions cannot be answered without seeing the facade, such as whether a particular discolouration will come off, and a system must not guess at those.

Set and approve sources

We establish which information the assistant uses: the pages on soiling types and methods, the test area explanation, instructions for residents on the working day and the questions the office often answers. Only what you have approved counts. Anything not approved stays out of its answers.

Separate general and facade questions

The assistant recognises whether a question is about general explanation, such as what algae do to pointing, or about a specific facade. For a specific facade, especially with a photo, it gives no verdict on method or result but refers to the enquiry form or a planner.

Answer with source or hand over

A general question gets the approved explanation and a link to the page. When in doubt, or when the visitor wants a person, the conversation goes to the office with the question attached. Residents asking about a job in progress are referred to the contact for that job.

On your own information, with a person behind it.

The sources already exist: the website, explanations you send to customers, instructions for residents and the planners' knowledge written down. You own that content and decide what the assistant says. Hand-overs go to the office inbox or system. Conversations are kept, so you can see which questions keep coming back and which explanation is missing from the site. The assistant never adds sources of its own.

Photo assessment or explanation only

An assistant that assesses facade photos seems helpful, but a photo shows neither the hardness of the stone, an old repellent layer nor the depth of the soiling. With photos we have the assistant only explain what a test area is and refer on, so the judgement stays with the planner.

Help residents too or only clients

Residents in an association have different questions from the board: when are they coming, do windows need to be shut, where can the car go. An assistant that also helps residents relieves the office. For questions about a job in progress it should refer to the fixed contact and never quote a schedule it does not know.

Answer price questions or refer on

A visitor asking what cleaning costs wants a number. But access, material and soiling make the difference. The assistant explains what the price depends on and points to the enquiry form. It only mentions a starting price if that is published that way on your site, so no false expectations arise.

What the AI assistant may answer.

From the start the assistant answers questions on soiling types, methods, the test area and the working day from approved sources, and passes facade specific questions to a colleague. Together we put real questions from the inbox to it, plus the question of a resident who sends a photo of white bloom after cleaning and wants to know whether it is damage. Resident instructions per job and an overview of unanswered questions can be added when you have those sources.

Can the assistant tell us which method suits our facade?

No. The assistant explains which methods exist and what the choice depends on, but which method suits a specific facade is decided by a planner after seeing the facade and the test area. The assistant points there too.

What does it say if someone asks whether white bloom is damage?

It gives the general explanation you have approved, for example what bloom usually is and that it often fades by itself, and refers to the office if there are concerns. It does not diagnose a specific facade.

Can the assistant tell residents when the crew is coming?

Only if you switch on that job's schedule for the assistant and the resident can be identified. While it is off, the assistant refers schedule questions to the job contact, so no outdated date is given. Once it is on, it only gives the confirmed date.

How do we know the assistant gives good answers?

Conversations can be read back, and each shows which source was used. If an answer is wrong, you update the source. Questions the assistant could not answer go on a list, so you know which explanation is still missing.
