Design and creative production: Website for video production companies
A website for video production companies that presents formats, production services and the way you work, so a client understands upfront what a corporate film, campaign or series of short videos involves.
What visitors want to know from video production companies.
The site of many video production companies consists of a showreel and a row of projects with attractive stills. A marketing manager wanting a recruitment video cannot tell from that what separates one shoot day of interviews from a scripted film with actors. It also stays unclear what happens after the shoot: how many edit versions, whether subtitles are included and whether vertical cuts for social media come out of it. Enquiries therefore arrive with a budget that does not match the expectation, or with an expectation that appeared nowhere on screen. The producer spends the first conversation explaining how a production runs rather than discussing the client's story.

Set formats side by side
The offer is organised into formats clients recognise: interview film, product video, event coverage, campaign spot, series of short clips. Each format shows what it usually involves: number of locations, crew size, whether a script is needed and which deliverables are typical. An example from your own work shows what it looks like.
Show how a production runs
One page describes the steps from brief to delivery: pre-production, shoot day, first cut, feedback rounds, grading and sound, and the delivery formats. Each step says what the client needs to supply or decide. A visitor knows in advance that a location must be arranged and that feedback comes in rounds.
Point enquiries at a format
From each format page an enquiry starts with the questions that belong to it. Event coverage asks for the date and length of the event; a campaign spot asks for channels and formats. The producer receives an enquiry that already says something about shoot days and editing, rather than just a wish.
Connected to your software.
A video production company usually already has a showreel and project videos on a video platform, and an inbox or form for enquiries. The website shows those videos without moving them and draws project descriptions from one source. Which projects may be shown depends on agreements with clients, and that stays recorded per project. The producer owns the format descriptions and can change them without needing a developer.
Showreel or explanation by format
A strong showreel shows the standard of work, but does not answer what a client needs for their own project. Explanation by format helps with that question but is less spectacular. Most visitors need both: the showreel to build trust and the format pages to understand what their project involves. The real question is which of the two sits at the top.
Show price guidance or not
Guidance per format filters out enquiries with too small a budget, but can also put people off or be read as a fixed price. Without it more enquiries arrive, some of which will not fit. A middle route is explaining what drives the price, such as shoot days, locations and edit versions, without naming figures.
Every project or a selection
A large portfolio shows experience, but a visitor looking for a recruitment video mainly wants to see recruitment videos. A selection by format or sector makes the portfolio more useful. Projects that may not be shared stay out, and one project can appear under several formats if it is a good example of each.

Format pages with examples, an explanation of how a production runs and an enquiry per format: we build that and put it live. First we send a visitor looking for an interview film through it together, and a client who wants a campaign with one main film and a series of short vertical versions for social media. Pages per sector and an enquiry form that carries the chosen format along are added once you have the examples for them.

Explore pricing and optionsCan we show projects a client is still unsure about?
Only with permission. For each project we record whether it may be shown and where. A project might be fine for a private presentation but not for the public site. If permission is withdrawn, one action removes the project everywhere it appears.
Do our videos have to move to another platform?
No. The site plays videos from the platform where they live today. We do check that the platform loads quickly and does not show other people's ads or recommendations at the end, because that pulls attention away from your own work.
How do we explain formats without jargon?
By describing what the client sees and has to do, not how the crew works. So not which camera, but how many locations, who appears on screen and how many versions are delivered. Unavoidable terms such as colour grading get a short explanation.
Can the site be in Dutch as well?
Yes. Formats, the production process and project descriptions can be managed in both languages. Projects with an English-language video get a note on the Dutch version that subtitles are available, so a Dutch client knows what to expect.
