Retail POS integrations

A point of sale that works with the rest of your shop.

A counter sale affects payments, inventory and administration. We connect those steps or build focused custom workflows where your existing till software falls short.

Paid on the terminal does not mean inventory has updated.

A customer pays but the confirmation reaches the till later. Meanwhile, the online store sells the same item. Or an employee issues a refund without registering the return. The solution starts with clear sale, payment and stock states. We map where those records originate and which events genuinely mean the transaction is complete.

From scanning an item to a reconciled sale.

  1. 01

    Build the sale

Record products, variants, quantities and discounts before starting payment. Scanners, receipt printers and cash drawers need to fit your devices and software. Supported connections are checked first.

  2. 02

    Track the payment

The payment provider determines whether a transaction succeeded, failed or remains pending. The till must make that visible. After a timeout, check the status before starting again so the customer is not charged twice.

  3. 03

    Update inventory and returns

Once confirmed, the sale follows the agreed inventory rules. Returns distinguish refunds, physical receipt and making an item sellable again. Exceptions and recovery actions stay traceable for staff.

First establish what your current till already does well.

Vorlyo provides development and integration here, not an off-the-shelf register with a fixed feature list. If the existing POS works, connecting the online store or administration may be enough. Custom work starts with API access, terminal support, permissions and provider agreements. We do not promise proprietary payment terminals or universal hardware support.

Your online store and shop share inventory
Choose an authoritative source for quantities and define reservations, cancellations and synchronization delays. Test concurrent sales too.
Returns require repetitive manual work
Link each return to its original sale and define who may issue a refund. Received goods may need inspection before returning to sellable stock.
You operate several locations
Identify the location, device and employee in each record. Central reporting and local operating permissions need not grant the same access.

Exceptions belong in the scope.

Locations, devices, sales channels and providers shape the work. Offline operation is a separate requirement dependent on software, terminals and the provider; a new interface does not automatically solve connectivity loss. Testing covers payments, returns, delayed confirmations and recovery. Hardware, transaction fees, development and ongoing care remain individually visible.

Good to know.

Do you sell a ready-made Vorlyo till?

This service covers custom work and integrations around your retail operation. We first determine whether existing POS software is sufficient and where development is needed.

Can you connect a payment terminal?

We investigate the terminals and APIs supported by your payment provider. The provider determines required hardware, account configuration and agreements.

Will everything work without internet?

That is not a default promise. We discuss which operations need to continue during an outage and what the chosen till and provider support.

Can an online order be returned in the shop?

That can be included in scope. We align order identification, refunds, inventory inspection and staff permissions.
