Booking websites for pottery workshops

From a first seat at the table to collecting finished work.

Make workshops easy to choose and book. Explain techniques, experience, materials and the steps that follow the session before participants arrive.

The experience does not end when the workshop finishes.

A participant books without knowing whether glazing and firing are included or when pieces can be collected. Another expects a wheel while the session covers handbuilding. We connect the offer to clear descriptions and booking steps so expectations match the studio’s service.

Give every stage of the workshop a clear place.

  1. 01

    Explain techniques and participation

Distinguish handbuilding, throwing and any follow-up sessions. State duration, required experience and what the price includes. Course series show all their dates.

  2. 02

    Connect places and payment

Let participants choose a session and number of places. Check actual capacity at booking. An abandoned payment must not reserve places indefinitely; its handling is agreed explicitly.

  3. 03

    Provide relevant follow-up

Explain the remaining process and send collection information when work is genuinely ready. A fixed calendar date may not match the studio’s production schedule.

Use the capacity your studio actually has.

Places may depend on tables, wheels and supervision. We discuss how those resources are allocated per workshop. Private groups need not use the same immediate booking route as regular sessions. If you already have a suitable reservation system, we examine how the website can connect.

One person books for a group
Distinguish the booking owner from participant count. Collect only additional participant information the studio needs and clarify who receives practical messages.
A course has several meetings
Present the complete series before payment. Participants should not discover additional required dates after the first session.
Pieces are ready later than expected
Provide a current update without issuing an incorrect collection confirmation. Readiness follows when the studio can actually hand over the work.

Offer, capacity and follow-up form the foundation.

We discuss sessions, course series, group enquiries, payments and collection messages. Gift vouchers, waiting lists and administration tools can be added separately. Vorlyo provides hosting and care under the agreement. Information about techniques and the making process is agreed with the studio.

Good to know.

Can we offer a waiting list?

Yes, with clear follow-up when a place becomes available. Joining the waiting list is not a paid or confirmed place.

Can participants book using a gift voucher?

Yes, with agreed validity, value and application. A voucher and a reservation remain separate items.

Can private workshop enquiries have their own form?

Yes. Collect group size, preferences and occasion so availability and content can be agreed first.

Can collection messages be automated?

Yes, after the studio confirms that work is ready. We avoid a fixed date that might not match actual production.
