Approval belongs to one artwork version
The customer changed a name. Request approval of the new proof before releasing this version to production. Payment alone is not artwork approval.
A paid order may not be ready for production.
An order arrives without its logo, or the customer emails a corrected name list later. Meanwhile, the first version has already reached the maker. A standard shopping basket does not automatically record which personalisation was approved. We structure sales around submission, review and release so staff do not have to reconstruct production instructions from scattered messages.
From a personal choice to approved artwork.

Submit details within the product’s capabilities
Let customers enter text, select a variant or upload a file. Show limits such as character counts and available positions before checkout. For a list of names, keep each name associated with its individual item.
- 02
Review and approve a proof
Give the customer one clearly identified version to review. Changes create a new version and may require renewed approval. Record approval against that artwork so the latest upload does not silently become the production file.
- 03
Prepare production and dispatch
Combine quantities, variants and approved files in the job. Explain when preparation is complete and which lead time then applies. A package containing different personalisations retains their individual allocation.
Give your makers usable instructions.
We review how files reach an engraver, printer or your own workshop. An integration can transfer order details, but must also prevent a job from being released twice. Technical file validation remains separate from content approval: a file can open correctly while containing the wrong name.
- The customer changes text after approval
- Show whether production has started. Assess the new request first when necessary rather than silently replacing an existing production file.
- One order contains twelve different names
- Preserve the allocation for each unit and check for missing entries. A total quantity in the basket cannot describe that order adequately.
- The uploaded image is unsuitable
- Provide a specific explanation and a way to submit a replacement. Align the agreed lead time with the point at which required information is complete.
Personalisation shapes the implementation.
We map product variants, finishing options, pricing rules, file formats and approval stages. Simple text personalisation differs from a visual design editor. We choose what helps customers and what the workshop can process. Vorlyo provides hosting and care, while production, amendment and delivery arrangements are explained clearly in the store.
Good to know.
Can customers preview their design immediately?
Yes, with a preview suited to the selected personalisation. We distinguish an indicative preview from the proof used for approval.
Can we prepare proofs manually first?
Yes. Orders can wait for a proof and customer approval before production release. A fully automated design editor is not required.
Can an order contain different names?
Yes, through entry fields or an agreed file format. Details remain linked to the relevant quantities and variants.
Can personalisation change the price?
Yes, using explicit rules for processes, positions or quantities. Customers see the calculated price before placing the order.
