Online stores for coffee subscriptions
Make ordering good coffee as enjoyable as receiving it.
Help customers choose their coffee and understand the next delivery. A subscription needs more than recurring payment: preferences, pauses and shipping must work together.

Show when the change takes effect
The customer is skipping one delivery. The subscription remains active; the next shipment and payment follow the adjusted schedule.
A payment interval is not a delivery agreement.
A customer chooses coffee every four weeks, changes the grind and wants to skip a holiday delivery. If that change exists only in the payment system, the original order may still reach the packing bench. We connect subscription preferences to individual deliveries so it is clear what can still change and what is already being prepared.
From coffee preference to a predictable next box.
- 01
Choose coffee and preparation
Show contents, quantity and available grind options. For rotating coffees, explain what stays fixed and what varies between deliveries. Trial packs and ongoing subscriptions have clearly different checkout choices.
- 02
Confirm the delivery cycle clearly
Show frequency, recurring costs and the first delivery before checkout is completed. A discount on the first box must not obscure the price of subsequent deliveries.
- 03
Apply changes to the correct shipment
Show which delivery will use a new address, quantity or pause. An order already being packed needs different handling from a future shipment. Keep the customer informed about the relevant outcome.
Payment, subscription and shipment each have a separate status.
We examine the subscription capabilities of your payment and commerce systems. Successful payment does not mean a package has shipped; failed payment must not silently proceed as an ordinary delivery. Exception recovery is agreed explicitly. Reliable existing functionality forms the foundation, with custom work for missing handovers.
- A customer buys coffee as a gift
- Clarify who pays, who receives it and whether the gift has a fixed term. Recipients must not unexpectedly become responsible for an ongoing subscription.
- The selected coffee is unavailable
- Agree whether substitutions are allowed and how customers are informed. Changing a warehouse product name is not a substitute for a clear agreement.
- A customer wants more coffee once
- Identify an additional item as a one-off. An extra bag in the next shipment need not alter the subscription’s standard quantity.
Your subscription rules determine the implementation.
We discuss products, variants, intervals, shipping costs, change deadlines and gift options. Customer accounts, stock integrations and fulfillment follow the selected systems. Vorlyo provides hosting and care under the agreement. Pause and cancellation terms from your policy are made visible during checkout and account management.
Good to know.
Can customers skip a delivery?
Yes, with a clear change deadline and visibility of the next shipment. Skipping, pausing and cancelling are different actions.
Can we offer whole beans and ground coffee?
Yes, with variants that reach the order and packing list correctly. The choice should not remain only in a free-text note.
Can subscriptions coexist with one-off purchases?
Yes. We distinguish single orders from recurring deliveries, including the corresponding payment and shipping arrangements.
Do we need a new payment system?
Not always. We first assess whether your current provider supports the required recurring payments and changes.
