Online ordering for bakeries
Online orders that fit your baking schedule.
Let customers order ahead and collect at the right time. Your bakery sees quantities, branches and special orders before production begins.
Discuss your project
Collection tomorrow means knowing what to prepare today.
A stock button alone does not account for dough preparation, lead times or oven capacity. Standard bread may be available tomorrow while a large celebration order needs more notice. We connect product selection to deadlines and collection options, so staff do not have to repair orders the website accepted too easily.
From product selection to a useful bakery list.
- 01
Order from the right range
Give products clear names, options and collection availability. Sliced bread, quantities per box and temporary specials need explicit choices. The bakery supplies and maintains product information; missing ingredient information must not be filled with assumptions.
- 02
Choose a feasible collection time
Set preparation time per product or group. Coordinate opening hours, holidays and branches. Orders arriving after the deadline need another collection date, even if the shop is still open that day.
- 03
Prepare quantities and hand over orders
Group production by product and collection date while retaining individual orders for handover. Staff should see whether each order is paid, packed or collected. A totals list does not replace order status.
Preorders are a different stock flow from counter sales.
We investigate whether online orders reserve production or draw from shop stock. With several branches, allocation matters too. A till integration can help, but requires agreement on when an order counts and how changes or cancellations are handled.
- A customer orders the same bread regularly
- Repeat ordering can speed up product selection. Check collection date, price and availability again before confirming the new order.
- A holiday requires extra production
- Use a dedicated range, clear deadline and available collection slots. This keeps the seasonal collection connected to production planning.
- A business orders for a large group
- Collect quantities, requested delivery time and composition. A business enquiry may need a proposal before it becomes a confirmed order.
Branches, deadlines and production lists shape the setup.
We discuss products, options, opening hours and the lists needed for production and collection. Payments, standing orders, delivery and till integrations are scoped separately. Vorlyo brings hosting, maintenance and support together. The bakery remains responsible for current availability and product information.
Good to know.
Can products have different order deadlines?
Yes. A standard product can have a different preparation time from cakes or large orders. We agree rules per product group.
Can customers choose a branch?
Yes. Products and collection times may differ by branch. Orders must appear in the correct shop’s preparation list.
Can we get daily production totals?
Yes. We can combine quantities per product and date while retaining individual customer orders for packing and collection.
Do we always need a large ecommerce platform?
Not necessarily. A focused ordering website may suit a small fixed range. We choose the setup around your ordering process.
