Ocean Snacks — an artisan snack bar and frituur at Loggerstraat 35 in IJmuiden, in the middle of the harbour district. Sells fresh fries (cut daily and fried with care), loaded fries, burgers, rolls and other snacks. Audience: maritime professionals and local customers alike.

Challenge

Ocean Snacks had no online presence. For a snack bar in a harbour district, findability is critical — both for sailors looking for something fast and for local customers checking the menu before they come by. Current flow is phone-to-collect; later the owner wants to migrate to Thuisbezorgd. So the website had to be ready for that step without building unnecessary complexity now.

Solution

Vorlyo built a mobile-first website with a visual identity around woodcut-style illustrations (matching the harbour location) and the motto 'Fresh · Fast · Tasty'. Clear menu, opening hours (Tue–Sat 10–19h), address + Google Maps, and a prominent call button for collect-orders. Architecture set up so a later Thuisbezorgd integration can be added without a rebuild — fast load time now, scalable later.
